Microsoft today announced the release date for zombie-simulator Dead Rising 2. Expect to see it shamble onto store shelves in North America on August 31, Japan on September 2 and Europe on Sept. 3.
Capcom also announced that Xbox 360 gamers will be able to get a taste of Dead Rising 2’s signature gameplay with the release of its downloadable prologue, Dead Rising 2: Case Zero. Available as DLC exclusively on Live “shortly before release of the full game,” Case Zero will introduce Dead Rising 2’s main protagonist Chuck Greene and provide a link between the original game and the events that take place in Dead Rising 2.
