I’m just going to be honest with you guys: my run this morning SUCKED. It was totally lame and ugh!
I started running after eating this for breakfast:
Traditional Mister Donut Saturday morning breakfast, along with half a cup of frozen blueberries and one container of blueberry yogurt.
Headed off for my run not long after this, but my legs just felt soooooo heavy and about two miles in my knees started hurting and aching. I walked the rest of the way back home. Felt totally discouraged by this morning’s run and I’m really hoping that tomorrow’s planned long run (about 4.5-5 miles) will go much better. Would icing my knees tonight help? Any advice is good!
Saw these pretty flowers on the way home and they brightened my mood a little bit.
J has spent the afternoon trying to hook up our wireless network for the apartment. With both of us having computers, plus both of us having iPhones, only being able to access the internet from his laptop wasn’t the best set up. So, we bought a wireless router and now I’m blogging live from the laptop I’ve had since before my freshman year of college. It’s old. It’s slow. And it processes everything at granny speed.
While J worked on the internet situation, I made myself some lunch.
One English muffin, 1 tbsp of pizza sauce, and sprinkling of Parmesan cheese later you get pizza. I popped this into the oven for about six minutes and it was so good! Better than the pizza we ordered last night, for sure!
Yes. We ordered pizza when J’s friends came over last night. I was ravenous after waiting until after 8 to eat dinner so I, not proudly, admit to ingesting three pieces, along with some chips. Bad call. And high in sodium, too, apparently as I’m up a pound or so today. I know I didn’t eat enough calories to gain a pound yesterday, so I am chalking it up to bloat and holding water and chugging the water today. Hopefully, by Monday’s weigh-in, all will even out.
