It seems the first (at least I think the first) U.S. city has made it illegal for grocery stores to supply plastic bags to customers. I found this news article over at Yahoo! News about the ban and find it very interesting. While Japan hasn’t made it illegal to supply plastic bags to customers, they usually charge you if you want them. Almost everyone brings their own reusable bags, like I mentioned here.
I thought some of you might find that pretty interesting!
I finally figure out a way to get my strength training in without all the fancy gym equipment. I’ve ordered an exercise ball and a resistance band from Amazon which should arrive sometime at the end of this month.
This isn’t the exact thing I am getting, just the ball, a pump, and the band. But, I think I can really work on toning up using these few pieces of equipment. Eventually I want to buy some hand weights as well so I can get back to 30 Day Shred.
There’s all kinds of links out there to stability ball workouts. I can’t wait to try some of them. I’ll let you know how they go.
But, for now, it’s time to finish Biggest Loser Season 8 Episode 1 (I FINALLY FOUND IT ONLINE! Oh sorry to yell… so excited!), gulp some more water, and have some dinner before settling into (what’s looking to be) a lazy night.
